Closing 2025 with Conviction

DECEMBER 2025

Well-being with Sharman

Dear friends,

As 2025 comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on the arc of this year—both in my own journey and in the conversations we’ve shared through this newsletter. Together, we’ve explored the pillars of well-being: mind and body, career, community, and relationships. We’ve paused mid-year to recommit, introduced an operating model rooted in integrity, and awakened to the deeper truth that this is water—the everyday awareness that shapes our lives.

This year has been about more than practices or frameworks. It has been about conviction. About saying no to what doesn’t align, and yes to what nourishes. About remembering that well-being is not a checklist, but a lived practice of awareness, integrity, and connection.

Highlights from 2025

  • Mind & Body: We began with the simple act of cutting processed foods, a reminder that small choices ripple into transformation.
  • Career: We reframed passion as a spark, not the whole fire, and explored how autonomy and connection fuel career well-being.
  • Community: We strengthened the “middle ring” of belonging: neighbors, workplaces, and shared tolerance.
  • Relationships: We returned to the source: the relationship with ourselves, which shapes all others.
  • Operating Model: We grounded our lives in wisdom, integrity, and alignment with what truly matters.
  • Wake-Up Call: We remembered that awareness, seeing the water we swim in, is the essence of well-being.
  • New Chapter: We embraced change with conviction, saying no to misaligned opportunities and yes to renewal.

A Personal Note

This year has been one of transition for me—stepping away from corporate work, deepening my coaching practice, and going all-in on yoga & wellness. Each step has been guided by living by example, and by the conviction that well-being is not only personal but collective.

Looking Ahead to 2026

As we step into the new year, I invite you to pause and ask yourself:

  • What will you say no to in 2026?
  • What will you honor as your one true priority?

Well-being begins with clarity. Renewal begins with conviction.

Here are some ways we can deepen our relationship:

In Reflection

This year reminded us that well-being is not about perfection, it’s about practice. It’s about living with integrity, cultivating awareness, and honoring what defines your well-lived life. Thank you for walking this path with me. I look forward to continuing our journey in 2026, with clarity, conviction, and connection.

Wishing you peace, health, and happiness!

FEBRUARY 2026 Well-being with Sharman I’ve had my fair share of change in life; it might even appear it’s something I pursue. Career pivots, living in different cities, relationship endings and beginnings—change has been my constant companion. While I’ve experienced a lot of change, there has always been a grounding in who I am and what matters most to me. That grounding has helped me meet change with more curiosity than fear, even though these shifts haven’t been without anxiety,...

January 2026 Well-being with Sharman As we step into 2026, we enter the rare and potent Year of the Fire Horse — a cycle that appears only once every sixty years. In Chinese astrology, the Fire Horse is a symbol of momentum, courage, and creative ignition. It’s the kind of year that invites us to move with intention and empower the parts of ourselves that have been quietly preparing for their moment. This isn’t a year of small steps. It’s a year of bold clarity, embodied leadership, and...

NOVEMBER 2025 Well-being with Sharman We’re taught to chase clarity by naming what we want. But in my experience, knowing what you don’t want is often more powerful.Desires can be shaped by conditioning—family, culture, expectations. But resistance is earned. It comes from lived experience. And it becomes the guardrails for a life built in integrity.Recently, I found myself:->Midway through an interview process for a job I didn’t want->Preparing to teach a yoga style I didn’t believe inBoth...
